Lake View Resort which is centrally located on the main street of Lake Side, Pokhara, is a three-star hotel with 21 Deluxe Bedrooms and 9 Private Huts.  One of the oldest hotels of lake side, Lake View has been serving trekkers, travelers and families for the last four decades. Lake view had to be upgraded to a 4 Star Resort, adding facilities and re-designing its property. The design challenge was to creatively divide the existing landscape and spaces of the property to accommodate new programs adding the new accommodation complex, swimming pool, pool side bar and other amenities.

The property is located right next to the road. To create an intimate space and protect guests from the busy road, the entry level is raised bringing focus to the picturesque backdrop of the mountains. Lake View invites guests to start their journey from the street into the garden where casual seating allows for lounging while enjoying afternoon coffees or meal. The pergola as an extension of the pool creates a space suitable for enjoying the view and the bar. The accommodation complex has five rooms with direct swimming pool access. The design emphasizes in integrating both the indoor and outdoor spaces so that movement between them feels effortless and natural.
